Briar Rose is also a short book but someone else. Its 84 pages long and sitting in my school bag waiting for me to show it to my teacher. I plan on writing a 14 page paper on Sleeping Beauty and its adaptations (e.g. how the story was changed, why was it changed, how was the different story used to communicate the authors message). There is actually a whole lot more to that last one than you would think. The story of Little Red Riding Hood was altered in order to be past around the French Court in order to warn the ladies of evil old rich men who wanted to steal their virtue.
